Scanmudring AS was established in 1985. Offices, workshops, test quay access are located in Mandal in the southern part of Norway. We perform special underwater work tasks - removal or relocation of any type of seabed soil is our specialty.

Operations are successfully carried out in deep water, difficult conditions and in areas with restricted access.The company at present focuses on operation of Scanmachine, Scancrawler, Scandredge, Scandredge ROV Manipulator and Scangrabber. In addition we perform studies and supply Scanrovdredge for ROV and diver operations.
The Scanmachine remotely operated underwater tool carrier can be operated to a water depth of 1000 m. The system can be modified for work in deeper locations if required. The Scanmachine is fitted with a tool change-out system.

Scanmachine relocates on the seabed on tracks and can be used as a platform for operation of several types of excavator and dredging equipment. The Scancrawler is a newly developed system combining the expertise achieved from Scanmachine operations and the well known flexibility of a ROV. The system consists of a light excavator unit that is powered by a separate ROV using hot stabbing for hydraulic power and electronic control signals.

The unit is makes it possible for ROV to perform highly accurate dredging and excavators tasks, and may be left wet stored at work site while ROV perform other tasks required.
